This is a private website that contains information about my family history that I am sharing with all my relatives. This website is for our family's use only. I welcome all of my relatives to use and enjoy this website to learn about our ancestors. Feel free to add your own research to this website.
You are welcome to create reports or charts and print information, but I prefer that you not upload this information to commercial or public genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. Most of the family history information contained on this website was found before the advent of the internet by Winifred (Honey) Volpe and by myself through years of difficult research. Because we put so much effort into the research, I prefer not to share it with commercial genealogy companies since they would take our hard work and re-sell it to other people.
Also, I have not redacting any information about living people, so please use the information careful and respect all of our relatives' personal information.
Feel free to ask me any questions about our family history or about the use of the website. Keep in mind that not all the stories you have been told about our family history over the years are correct. People's recollections about family history do not always match reality and oral family history is often romanticized or euphemized. This website contains information based on government and church records wherever possible. In places were there is doubt there will be question marks or the word "about".
This website is dedicated to Honey (pictured on the right) since she did a lot of this research and since she got me interested in genealogy when I was a kid.
